- Sift Flour, add salt, sugar, yeast, baking powder and butter or cookeen/Crisco.
- add luke warm water a little at a time to make a soft pliable dough, kneed for about 10-15 minutes. Cover with damp cloth and leave to rest for about 45 mins to an hour.
- Cut dough into pieces, flatten with hand and roll each piece to your preferred size and thickness.
- Fry in hot oil, turn once or twice and fry until golden brown or lighter if you want a softer bake, Drain on paper towel.
